 | Wow, I never would have believed that I would see the day that this site became a ghost-town. I graduate from high school and go off to college for a few years and come back to find this website has lost those dedicated people who once kept it running. It used to be so popular - it almost makes me want to cry, seeing it this way. I was once a very active member-the webmasters used to know me pretty well on this site; I bet they no longer would even remember me. Now, who else would like to help me attempt to get their faces out of the Gourd? Except for Mattwandcow, who seems to have a rather valid excuse for being sucked in by the Gourd(see xanth home page), we should attempt to knock some sense into the other webmaster's heads and get them to somehow return to this site and give it life once more! At the very least, perhaps we could convince some of them to find new and dedicated webmasters to bring Xanthians Online back to life once again! NOW, WHO ELSE IS WITH ME!?! Please, for the sake of Xanthians everywhere, make a stand with me and SPEAK OUT!!!

| I first learned of Xanth 9 years ago. I had to pick out a book for a book report and I happen to come across A Spell for Chameleon. I read it and got addicted. I finished his first 9 books that year and thought the story was over. 2 months ago my girlfriend made me pick out a book cuz she had a reading phase. I decided to try and find a book by Anthony cuz he was the only author I ever got into. To my surprise the Xanth series never died. I started up where I left off and am now on Xone of Contention. Now I'm trying to find a site where I can share my Xanth ideas with people who love Xanth themself.

| I would like to thank you Hades and Ballack for responding to this thread! I am hoping that with enough of a response to it, we may be able to convince the webmasters to bring this site back to life!  With any hope, this message will somehow get through to them and they will see just how much meaning it holds for all us fans of Xanth! Additionally, it may help if we contact the webmasters via email, which can be found under the members section of this site. Even though some of those email accounts may no longer be used by them, I am sure that some are still active. So please help and speak out so that we can revive Xanthians Online once and for all!

| Its all good. Well if we're doing histories, I got sucked into Xanth about fourteen years ago. Came across it while looking for the Apprentice Adept books, saw a book by Peirs (Deamons Don't Dream) and thought 'I'll give it a try' Been collecting them since. Problem is, in England it is almost impossible to find Xanth books apart from the odd one in seccond hand book shops. My collection is comming on nicely though after over a decade of serching, most recently i found Dastard, Cube Route and Visual guide to Xanth. Awesome. I was Denied the reason for the Good Magicians dissapearence in Vale for three years till i came across Question Quest on a car boot sale stall. Incidentaly, my collection of the Adept books was only completed about two years ago. Man this country just doesn't appreceate the glory of the Peirs.

| I wish I could have seen this site in its prime. The problem now is no one reads anymore. I was reading that they were working on a movie, but the latest thing I've seen about it was written in 06. What ever happened with that. A movie could bring this site back to life. Maybe even a game for playstation or something.

| A PS game would truly be awesome. As for the film, as i understand it it is still in the works. | ive been reading Xanth books for a long time now (around 10+ years ago), since im in my reading phase i also continued to read on the books that i havent finished yet.
I'm really glad that the Xanth book series is still up and well although i do wish we could have had as many books for the second trilogy like the first

| hi there i argee i would have loved to have seen this site in its hey day, i just got into computers a shport time ago, thought they would be a passig fad, blusshing, any way i asked the good Magiain about the movie a while ago and the option was dropped just before i asked him, then he sent me an email a few months later that yay we can look forward to it in 2011. whew out of breath. I will check my email and see if i still have the replies and post them here. glad to see there are still fans alive and well. And i hope we can get our web masters out of the gourd before it is to ltr for them

| Hopefully it'll liven up around here if and when the Xanth movie comes out. Spell for Chameleon is one of my favorite books and I think it'll be interesting to see how they work out Chameleon's phase changes. Not to mention all my illiterate friends that refuse to pick up books will finally get to experience Xanth.

| I've been a fan of Xanth for like... two weeks lol. But already I'm pretty addicted (halfway through the 4th book). I agree this site really needs some fixing up. Half the things here seem to be 404'd or outdated.

| I have just joined this site. It seems to be nice. But, I'm sad that it is seemingly slowing down.  I hope it picks up soon. I've been an avid Xanthian for a long time and I have been looking for someone to discuss it with. Please, let's keep this site running.
