|  "A Spell for Chameleon" is by far the best and most humorous of all the Xanth books. It may be the first - but I think it is the greatest.

| They're all great. It depends on what you like. If you don't like too many puns read the first few books. If you're mad about them Cube Route has a ton.
My personal fave is Yon Ill Wind, btw

| I love ALL the Xanth books, but the Source of Magic was my first, and one of my favourites. I ADORE the puns, so I also like Pet Peeve and so on.

| i think my favorite would be ogre ogre! the first one i read was dragon on a pedastal, and then i read them from the first till currant events, but i still think that ogre ogre is the best.

| the best book in my opinion is the source of magic. it was my first book as well and i read it like 4 times a year. i am a hard core fan lol.

| I really liked Nite Mare, the adventures that Bink, Dor, Ivy and Dolph went on were good too. And the books with Nimby (Zone of Contention?)
Some of the newer ones arent as good and there are toooo many puns in them (he was forcing and overduing them)

Although I look forward to reading about Jordan the ghost . Have to get through Dragon on a Pedestal first tho *sigh*

| My favorite is Ogre, Ogre.
But I think the best is Castle Roogna. That had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Also, it had a great character called Jumper.

| yea OMFg ju[er the big spider from the book castle rogna was simply cool.
i like all of them pretty much the same. allthough when I read heaven cent and isle of view, they were a twist in the whole series.

| The best Xanth Novel is Demons Don't Dream!! The game sounded like so much fun that it inspired me 2 come look it up on the web and find this website! Plus the ending is kind of romantic in a fantasy way

| i've read 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 28, and 29, and I really like Isle of View. It violated the Adult Conspiracy!

I really need to start trying to read then again, but its like, any moment I have to read I could be on my computer instead!
